This is Local 213's Work Information for Wednesday March 1st
If you worked at Local 488 last year please note the second half of Working Dues just came in so some of you will receive a second T4 for Union Dues from 213 in the mail. This slip will be in an envelope with the Travel Card Dues slip from Local 488. If you receive a travel card slip from 488 and there is no other T4 in the envelope you are not affected.
If you worked for Local 740 during or before 2013 and again after 2014 please contact the hall so we can ensure all remittances have been received by NB Pipe Trades.

Tax slips will be available for for pick up at the hall on Thursday Feb.23rd & Friday Feb.24th. The remainder of the slips will be mailed out on Monday Feb.27th
This is Local 213's Work Information for Monday February 20th
There is 1 call for AQTS at IPP. They require 2 Apprentice Pipefitters starting Thursday February 23rd. at 7:30am. Duration is 3 days plus and they are working 8 hour shifts. You must have all safety training up to date, be able to work at heights, work in extreme heat and a D&A is required.

This is Local 213's Work Information for Thursday February 9th
There will be CWB Testing on Monday February 13th at 5:00pm. Please call to register.
The 1st call is for Marque at the Refinery. They require 1 Pipefitter with tube bending experience starting February 22nd at 7:30am. Duration is 2 weeks and they are working 4x10's You must have all safety training up to date, be able to pass a tube bending test, be able to climb and work at heights and a D&A is required.
The 2nd call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau. They require 7 Pipefitters, 3 Apprentice Pipefitters and 2 Welders to test on tig/stick carbon steel and stainless steel, starting March 27 at 7:30am. Duration is 4-5 weeks and they are working 8 hour shifts until the outage, then switching to 6x10's or 12 hours shifts. Additional over time may be required and some will be required to go to night shift once the outage starts. You must have all safety training up to date, must have CSA approved non-metallic composite workboots and this work is under the NMA.

You must have all safety training up to date, be able to work at heights, work in extreme heat and a D&A is required.

There will be a Pension Information Session at the hall. Please call to register.
There is 1 call for Lorneville at Point Lepreau. They require 1 Pipefitter with tube bending experience starting February 13th pending clearance. Duration is until mid April and they are working 8 hour shifts with overtime during the outage. You must have all safety training up to date. This work is under the NMA.
