There will be a retiree luncheon held on October 2nd at the Legion Branch 69, located at 714 Wilson Street. The doors open at 11:00am, and the buffet starts at 12:30pm and ends at 2:30pm. The 1st call is for Stuart Olson at Irving Oil Refinery; they require
* 1 F3/F4 welder to test on F3/F4; F6/F5 for Days
Starting Monday, Sept. 21st, at 7:30 am. Will be working 6×10’s. The duration is 2 weeks plus. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all Stuart Olson orientation before arrival. IOR orientation will be done onsite. A D&A test is required.
The 2nd call is for CAM at Irving Oil Refinery; they require
*2 F3/F4 welders to test on F3/F4; F6/F5

The Labor Day Parade will take place on Monday, Sept. 7th, 2026, beginning at 11:30 am, with setup starting at 10:45 am. The parade will start from Long Wharf in Saint John. Following the parade, there will be a free BBQ at Chown Fields, located at the corner of Prince Edward Street and Crown Street. Families are encouraged to attend, as there will be bouncy castles, face painting, and a magic show for kids. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and festivities.
